Stonebridge Manor Reviews
During the day, the wedding coordinator only checked in 1-2 times and there was a lack of attention to the bride (I felt). I've never been at an event place so grand like this and no one really checked in on the brides suite.
Besides the ceremony, the coordinator really wasn't around or moved the program along. We noticed once people sat down for dinner... There was very little direction with the DJ or any staff.
We had to ask the bartender for security as we could not find a single person to assist with a situation.
Beautiful place, amazing food. Just a little fix here and there and it would be a 10/10.
I was a little nervous at first since it’s part of a company with multiple venues, but it never once felt anything but personal and intentional. Every person we worked with was amazing. We had a few required meetings with different team members, and they kept such detailed notes that it always felt seamless, never like we were starting over with someone new.
I love how they structure their packages. You get great options, but can still customize everything to fit your vision and budget. We brought in several of our own vendors, and Stonebridge was completely welcoming and easy about it, which I really appreciated.
Our day-of coordinator, Jessica, is the sweetest. She took such good care of us and truly felt like a friend throughout the whole process. Our night captain was also so helpful and made sure we stayed hydrated all night, checking in constantly with drinks which we really needed.
We also had dietary restrictions with no dairy, and the catering team was incredibly accommodating. They made it feel easy and stress-free, and the food was still absolutely delicious.
I do want to share one stressful moment. We had a few extremely meaningful family items for our ceremony and had clearly communicated how important it was that they stayed safe. Jessica was amazing and immediately collected those items after the ceremony to be brought back to our locked bridal suite. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way with the evening team, that box was misplaced.
At the end of the night, my bridesmaids and I spent a long time searching for it, and there was very little urgency from the staff, which made an already stressful situation feel worse. It got to the point where we had to have a very stern conversation with the night captain about how important it was to find those items. It was honestly a really unpleasant way to end the night.
Thankfully, the box was eventually found, but it was in a completely different area of the venue, not even close to the bridal suite, which was concerning.
I also had multiple guests and members of my bridal party mention that toward the end of the night, some of the younger staff, including bartenders, appeared to be drinking and stepping away to smoke, which did not feel professional.
That said, I still could not recommend Stonebridge enough. The space is absolutely breathtaking, our photos are incredible, and our guests who traveled from places like Chicago and New York could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The food was delicious, the value was amazing, and the overall experience was so special.
They are also very easy to communicate with and provide a number you can text anytime, which was so helpful during planning. Watching other weddings there, it’s amazing how each couple truly makes the space their own.
Despite a frustrating end-of-night experience, this is an incredible venue with a wonderful team overall. I would still choose Stonebridge again and would love to attend a wedding here as a guest.
As an out of state bride, I wanted to work with a Wedgewood venue to make my life easier. They made planning a wedding feel less overwhelming and were always free to answer questions with a fast turn around. The whole planning team was fantastic. We loved the food and most of the recommend vendors including: DJ Sounds Giovanny (who made our night SO fun), Piece of Cake (BEST cake), Photography: Kim Skinner (Amazing and so organized) and Stem Swag (Just OK, would not book them again). Our banquet Captain Gerardo exceeded all possible expectations. He was everywhere we needed him, the whole time. Empty drink? He was already in front of me with a new one. Needed water on the dance floor? He was right there with it! It blew my mind how attentive and assertive he was. He made sure our whole night was smooth and carefree. Our Coordinator Josie was also fantastic. From the day before at the rehearsal, to the wedding day, she calmed our nerves and just took care of everything. She dealt with family of all ages really well, even an upset little flower girl who missed nap time. We really had no worries the whole day thanks to Josie.
We could not recommend this stunning venue more. They deeply care about the couple's experience from booking them to planning to the actual wedding day - and they even check in post wedding to get feedback!
