Let’s dive in and make your wedding day even more unforgettable!

Before veil and after

Most brides don’t wear their veils all day because they’re a pain to handle. They usually wear them for as long as they need to, except for those tiny birdcage ones that are light and easy to handle.

So, when is the best time to wear the veil?

We suggest wearing it during the ceremony. If you’re planning a first look, then don’t wear the veil for that. Keep it for the aisle walk. Here’s why:

  • It’s something new for your groom to see you in that will make you look extra bridal.
  • You’ll get some post-ceremony portrait time while your photographer takes some “veil-fluffing” shots. Trust me, they’ll need it!
  • It keeps your veil from getting wrinkled or damaged before the ceremony.
  • You can use the veil creatively during sunset portraits.
  • Also, veils just look better in the evening light
  • You’ll get two different looks on your special day, which means more variety in your wedding film and photos.

Before veil and after

Ultimately, it’s totally up to you whether you want to wear your veil all day or not. Just remember, it’s just a small part of your wedding planning process. So, if you want to wear your expensive veil all day to get your money’s worth, then go ahead and rock it! After all, it’s your day and you get to decide what works best for you.
